So I haven’t talked about B&W lore much on here,
because I’ve always hoped I’d just write it in story but that’s obviously not worked out yet but something fantastic about it is it is compatible with just about anything. Crossovers could be 100% canon or equally viable fanfiction and stuff.
The story is eventually about the management of universes in a multiverse and one thing is a lot of universes are generated on the same template but with a few unique traits (often manifesting in physical law). So any magic system, loose sci-fi, etc. is quite possible. (Some might get hard to reconcile, esp. ones that deal with parallel universes because I think a lot of common types of parallel universe should be impossible but even Homestuck and its universe generation method is compatible.)
I’ve updated and corrected the blog’s information to reflect where it is at the moment. Of special importance are these pages:
ABOUT : BITS & WIDGETS
with an updated blog description and added tag links for anything people might be interested in.
I haven’t gotten to updating the visuals yet, though those will come soon enough (hand and wrist cramps kind of make drawing unappealing at the moment).
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. —
This statement is wonderful for more than a few reasons. First, I love the expression that the world is insufficient to hold all the important things Christ did if it were to be written. This also has the lovely implication that there is always more to be written, not only about Christ but generally; until the universe runneth over with literature, it would not be complete. Then, John’s statement sounds like him musing to himself contentedly: “I suppose that …” I terribly enjoy John’s writing.
Day 4: Favorite Electric Type => Magneton
The magnetic fields one of these would produce would be ridiculously awesome (especially since its magnets all rotate simultaneously and whatnot). Also a Pokemon that’d be super useful/obnoxious in real life. Sure, it’d be good for power generation and all, but also you couldn’t let it near anything electronic.
But yeah, magnets and little balls with magnets and weird staring eyes are pretty fantastic/adorable. That beeping noise Magnemite make is one of the best things in the world.
I accidentally deleted my normal brush but found this one!
Day 3: Favorite Dragon Type => Flygon
The elemental spirit of the desert, the Mystic Pokemon, strong geometric influences (striping, rhombus wings, domed eyes), and it’s kind of adorable for a dragon.
Flygon just has a lot of good things about it!
Day 2: Favorite Dark Type => Absol
It’s a Pokemon who is associated with evil because it only appears before disasters, as Absol can sense impending destruction and they go to warn people of it.
How can I not love that?
