43. From Widgets’ Log: If Patron is going to build me a place like this, I’m going to use this. I’ve already drafted a few upgrades for AUGMENT, and I’ll be able to seriously improve him. I’ve gotten wind of temporal abnormality here in Provenance, and lo and behold, I found some books that far exceed modern physical knowledge. I suppose it is only to be expected from a multi-dimensional land, but it is much more interesting in my hands. I wonder what those other chaps are up to, especially that quadraped. Really, a quadrapedal sentient creature. Or so I assume, that’s my deduction from the 10 or so seconds of exposure to it. It as acting intelligently, I am sure of it.
