You descend into the pit. No light makes it down, but as you and Barkeep meet the floor, the impact scatters dust. The dust glows faintly from the impact.
Barkeep makes scuffling noises as he searches for something.
Barkeep: Not unless you have something.
Bits: Then let’s go.
Barkeep: Ahh, there we go.
Barkeep: Just as fair warning, it isn’t super lovely down there.
Barkeep: Last time I went down there, it was quite grimy.
Bits: Alrighty then. Anything else before we leave?
Barkeep: I never use this thing, so I don’t really know what to expect down there.
Bits: Unless the undead roam the halls of your basement, I think it’ll be fine.
Barkeep: Exactly. Let me just get this off…
Bits: Is that a trapdoor?
Barkeep: Circumstantially, um, yes. It is.
Bits: Why do you have a trapdoor in a coffee shop?
Barkeep: Hey, I didn’t build it. It was here when I purchased the shop.
Barkeep: It’s probably a hipster thing.
